Home button by default is disabled from the Chrome browser as it felt for them to be a unnecessary icon taking the space in the browser window as home button are used rarely these days as the users have started using the suggestions from the address bar, even though it’s rarely used chrome doesn't disabled it for lifetime but just disabled it from the options, so you can enable it anytime you want.

Now to enable the home button in Chrome browser follow the steps given below,

STEP 1: Click on the Wrench icon which is present in the top left end side of the chrome browser window -> Select Settings.

STEP 2: Now you will see there are several options available in the settings page under Appearance title you can see the options called as “Show Home button”.

STEP 3: You can see the Home icon being added automatically when you check the checkbox if you want to disable it again you can leave the checkbox unchecked.

Now to your next query, incognito is nothing but working in a secret mode (Private Browsing) which in sense there will be no history or cookies will be stored in your window when you work in the incognito windows which is more likely a better choice when many users use the same chrome browser.

To enable incognito windows, press Ctrl+Shift+N or simply click the wrench icon and select the New incognito windows.
