Wanted to sync up my new Samsung Duos mobile to the system but when I try to sync up it just shows the error as “MTP USB device failed”. Anyone came across this issue before? Can you please give me the complete steps which I need to follow for the same? Thanks.

MTP driver is actually used by the Samsung Kies application which will sync your Samsung Duos with the PC. Now to fix this problem just follow the below mentioned steps,

STEP 1: In your Samsung Duos -> Open settings -> Application -> Development -> Check if the USB Driver Debugging is unchecked.

STEP 2: Open Device Manager ( My Computer -> Right Click -> Manage ) and check for MTP USB device and select the Update driver option and follow the steps given.

STEP 3: Now try to connect your Galaxy Duos again by opening up the Kies application which should work now without any problem.
