Is it possible to open the MS Office files and edit them in Kindle Fire?

I am confused that if Kindle Fire supports the usage of Office files?

Can I open Word, Excel sheet files in Kindle Fire? Is it possible to do? Can you give me details about this?

Amazon have designed there own Kindle Fireís built-in Docs Library to support the PDF and Word files where you can load the files into the Kindle Fire by E-Mail or USB file transfer and open it in the built-in Docs Library. Itís must for Amazon to provide this support as Microsoft Office is something which is very basic application used by most of the people around.

There are still many third-party apps which do support the usage Office files as like Word, Excel, Powerpoint so on. Some of the apps to name or Documents to Go, Quick  Office, OfficeSuite etc. are the best apps for manipulating the Office files. You can also have the files shared in PC, Kindle and from Phone by using the Dropbox app.

There are number of other web-based tools available too for using the office files as like Google Docs, Microsoft Office 365 and Zoho which again allows to open and edit the Office files which are worth to try even there are stand alone apps available for the use.
