I really have very less idea about what Kindle is and how it is now, so can you give me some clear picture about what does it mean by Kindle from Amazon?

How it all started? Where they are now?

Amazon came up with Kindle which is more like a tablet is for one single solid reason which is nothing but changing the reader market which in sense making the end user to use e-reading as his/her part of daily practice rather putting the head down in the printed book versions. Amazon wants the end user to be more productive in what they use when it comes to reading, have anyone thinking about how much amount of papers is consumed a day for just printing a new novel? How many trees have been cut down for printing a simple 100 page book? So Amazon came up with this new concept of e-reading gadget which is named as Kindle.

The first Kindle E-Reader came out in the year 2007 which had a capacity to store about 250mb with a expandable SD card slot. As it was pretty new and a good one for the book worms, many opted for the Kindle and was admired by its usage and performance, seeing this Amazon planned to go for their next release in 2009 which is named as Kindle 2 with an improved keyboard design and also the feature of mobile network which allows the end user to download the e-books through internet. The new version which came in short notice was Kindle DX which came up with the larger screen of 9.7inch which extended the support for many formats like Magazines, Newspapers and textbooks etc.

Next version which came after a year was the new Kindle 3 with much improved features of Wi-Fi and 3G facility and it costed around $139 and in 2011 which was the huge U turn for Amazon by releasing the three new members of Kindle family which are Kindle Touch, Kindle Touch 3G and the official Kindle Fire.

Now Kindle Touch and Kindle Touch 3G shared some of the features which are more like the previous version while Kindle Fire came up with the new class which is more like a full-fledged tablet + E-book reader from Amazon. The new Kindle Fire is powered with 1GHz dual-core processor that provides the ability to browse the web or even read books while downloading videos and about 8GB of memory storage. There are several other features which made the Kindle Fire to be one of the best in market even when there were might competitors. So right now Amazon planning to release the new Kindle Fire 2 version by end of 2012 which is expected to give an outstanding performance than ever before.

If you are still wondering what Kindle is all about? How does it work? Then its high time for you to buy one and test it right away as there are lot of excitements available within it.
