Amazon do have a big hype for the technologically advanced Silk Browser which was a bit of disappointment for the users. The browser goes numb and slow sometimes when compared with other tablets.

Now one important thing which you can check for this issue is to clear the cache and history files from your Silk Browser by selecting the menu button -> Select “Clear Cache” and “Clear history”. Once it is done try to restart your browser once.

Silk Browser works just fine for the basic needs, so try not to overuse as like you use in your Desktop as it is not designed in that way where it runs in top a tablet. So try not to open many tabs in the single go and always keep in mind that you can use it for your basic browsing and not more than that.
